it feels like ages since I’ve been in touch but I think it’s actually only been a week!
I have been wrapped up with the new website it’s still a work in progress but I’m getting there.
The ‘Little Stitchers’ learnt how to sew on buttons last week and then made pictures which they then made into cushions
These girls have been so creative, nothing has fazed them. So I don’t think they will have any problem with making zipped pouches this week.
Don’t forget it’s the Eccleshall show this Saturday and today is the last day for getting your entry form in, if you’re entering any produce, there is a patchwork category.
It’s a fun day out for all the family, let’s hope the weather improves for the weekend.
I have had some lovely fabrics delivered this week…..
‘Hello Fall’ by Sandy Grevais for Moda, this range is really Autumnal, with rich oranges, browns, greens & creams and a fun owl and pumpkin panel. I have made two quilted wall hangings from Sandy’s pattern which show off the fabrics beautifully.
and the ‘Honey Meadow’ from Lewis & Irene, gorgeous prints featuring, bees, butterflies and flowers, in soft blues, mauves and creams.
Lovely fabrics to inspire you now that the nights are slowly creeping in.
