A belated Happy New Year

I hope you’ve had a lovely Christmas and a happy new year, did you get all you wish for?

We had a lovely Christmas spent with family, very relaxing, then on the 28th Glen & I flew away to Florida.

Glen hired a car and we drove from Orlando to Miami, where we saw the beautiful Art Deco architecture, ideas for quilt patterns are all around.

On the way back up to Orlando we called in to Venice and had a walk along the beach and then on the drive out of the town Glen spotted a quilt shop so we stopped and went in (isn’t he well trained!)

Digital StillCamera The Quilt Basket is a lovely shop, run by the very lovely & helpful Debbie, with beautiful fabrics and everything else you may need to create fabulous projects.

It has been so nice to get a bit of sunshine but it is good to be home even if it rather chilly and very windy.

Back at The Corner Patch and feeling quite jet lagged, we had the first workshop of 2015. Tracy was holding one of her Bag of the Month classes and the ladies made ‘Strippy Bags’.

They all looked fabulous don’t you think?

right I’m off to try and catch up on some sleep and get by body-clock back on Greenwich Mean Time.

Until next time

Happy sewing xx
