Thank you….

I celebrated the shop’s 4th birthday on Saturday, I know four years! Where has the time gone? It feels like only yesterday that I took the shop over from Alison but at the same time I feel as if I’ve always been there.

There are so many people to thank  – my mum and Glen for their continued support and encouragement, listening to my doubt and worries.                                                                              Chris Franses and Barbara Chainey for their expertise, not only teaching but with 30+ years each of experience in the patchwork & quilting world, there isn’t much they don’t know.                                                                                                                                                                      Tracy,who I have said before is the shop support system, teaching and looking after the shop when I have a holiday or take The Corner Patch on the road. Caroline & Ruth who help out in the shop and encourage me to keep going.

But the biggest ‘thank you’ goes to you – my lovely customers, who frequent the shop, attend workshops and classes.Give me great feed-back about the gorgeous fabrics we have in stock and the classes that you’d like to see. I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I do and I can only be grateful to you for your continued support and your shared love of patchwork, quilting and fabric.

Thank you for supporting our sale day – the raffle raised £60 for The Autistic Society.

Eccleshall is suffering at the moment (as are many High Streets) we seem to have more than our fair share of road closures and the closure of the bank seems to be taking it’s toll. But we know the roadworks and disruptions won’t last forever, the new houses being built will bring new customer to the shops and it’s nearly Christmas, so please continue to give your support to the small independent shops wherever you are; you’ll always get expert advise and friendly service.
