Block of the Month – Block 7

this month’s block is actually a block, it’s the border star that goes around each of the blocks you have already made and the rest of the blocks you will make.

I have left until now because by now you will be confident with ‘flying geese’ and ‘half square triangle’ units and that’s what the ‘border star’ is made up of.

you can really play around with shading on this block. I made my border stars in different colours for each block, but some of the ladies chose to use all the same shades and a few used all the same fabric, the possibilities are endless.
